From the Files of Heal the Harbor From: Heal the Harbor, Inc. at www.healtheharbor.org March 11, 2002 Director Dear Director: Heal the Harbor, Inc. has posted our heat extraction method of oil spill containment and recovery on the web. This publication, at least, will keep this process in the public domain for public use (as an oil company might patent it, just to "bury it"). Heal the Harbor still needs your help to put on a demonstration of air drop of cryogenic ordnance to protect homes from burning as in the path of firestorm (42 homes just burned in northern San Diego county), put out fires where water use will contaminate ground water and local streams such as the tire dump fire burning now in Upstate New York and, of course, help to demonstrate to a "not interested" U.S. Coast Guard Research Director how to contain future oil spills and stop spilled oil from grounding.
